National Merit Commended Student - Michaela Mohs

Of the 1.5 million Juniors in the nation who participated in the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, 50,000 students were nominated as Commended Students. Michaela Mohs is counted among those students. The nomination is based on the score results from the PSAT.

Michaela will now have the opportunity to have the National Merit Scholarship Corporation recommend her to two colleges of her choice. She is also still in the running to become a Semifinalist, which would put her score in the top 16,000 of all those juniors who participated. She would then have the opportunity to become one of the top 8,200 students to receive National Merit Scholarships, which are renewable for all four years of university study.
