FINANCIAL AID

CLS offers a need-based tuition discount program (financial aid) to families that qualify. This aid is available to families of full time students only. Financial aid is determined through an online application process that confidentially reviews income and expenses.  CLS uses the service of an independent company (FACTS) to review all applications.  FACTS exceeds the industry standard of information security and provides an independent 3^rd party review process for our school.

 

For a qualifying family, financial aid may range from a 5% to 45% discount off of tuition.

 

Application Process:

·         Families must re-apply every year. 

·         The Application is available online at www.factstuitionaid.com.

·         There is a non-refundable $25 charge to apply.

·         FACTS will require the most recent year (2009 or 2010) tax forms in addition to your  2010 W2's. FACTS will NOT accept state returns.

·         The school will receive notice within 10-14 business days after FACTS has received the online application and all supporting documents.

·         If you have questions or concerns about the application process, you may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative at 1-866-315-9262.

·         To expedite application process, fax supporting documents to 866-315-9264.

 

Deadline:  The application deadline is April 4th, 2011.  Financial aid will be limited after the deadline.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS

CLS has a limited amount of scholarship funds available on a yearly basis for families with financial need.  The amount available varies from year to year and is dependant solely on the amount of donations to this fund.

 

To apply, families must have first filled out a FACTS application and have received Financial Aid. Then, download and complete this scholarship form. Submit the completed form to the school office.

 

KIDSFIRST SCHOLARSHIP

These scholarships will be available for the 2011-2012 school year for new students who will attend Christian Life School and for current CLS students entering K5.  KidsFirst will be awarding VERY FEW-if any-NEW SCHOLARSHIPS for the 11-12 school year due to the continuing down-turn in the economy.   

 

Eligible children?  Any child entering Kindergarten - OR - a child new to CLS entering grades 1-6 coming from  home school or public school.   

 

Eligible Families?  Those meeting the income requirements as listed on their applications.
