Campus Life Development

33 years ago Christian Life's 20 acre property was purchased, and today nearly half of the property is still undeveloped.  We feel that this is an opportune time to steward and put to use what God provided a long time ago.  Below is an overview of the Campus Life Development Project.  You will see that it is a project designed to address several critical campus needs that provide strategic support to the life and ministries here at the school and church.  Generally speaking it focuses on the following developments:

• Excavating, irrigating, and seeding the nearly 10 acres of our undeveloped property creating large usable green area for major events like our church's community outreach called Life Fest, as well as athletic and play fields for all ages, and walking paths.  Done!
• Installing a much needed new large-scale play center.  Done!
• Constructing an open-sided Pavilion that will provide for outdoor classes, group activities, and ministry gatherings, as well as support
• Installation of various elements to complete the project including a sand volleyball court, landscaping, and security lighting.

As you can see this is a project that will have a broad impact on nearly every age-level in the school and the various church ministries.  Another important factor is that the school is experiencing a growth pattern over the past six years, and buildings and campus development are strategic to facilitating and enhancing current and future growth.  After review, research, and much needed prayer, we feel that this is the time of opportunity for this step which will allow us to have the property developed and functioning by the start of the new school year this fall.

Financial Goal

To accomplish the project this summer, we are committing to raising the money before we begin each phase of the project.  The amount needed to complete the entire project is $330,000.  The project can be accomplished in phases as levels of funds come in, but our focus is on finishing the entire project this summer.

MIRACLE NEWS!

We have amazing miracle news to share with you.  As we have begun to share this vision with our leaders and staff, over $153,000 has already been raised including $10K, $30K, and $100,000 gifts!!  These miracle lead gifts come after the school has received over $500,000 in miracle gifts over the past 2 years enabling us to renovate the gymnasium and high school facilities during 2009-2010.  We thank God for His miraculous provision!

Taking the NEXT STEP Together

This is a project that will rely on the collective effort of the entire Christian Life school and church community.  There are several ways everyone can be a part of fulfilling the vision.  First, I want to urge us as a Christian Life community to pray and believe that God can do big things.  The Next Step Overview can be posted as a prayer reminder.  Second, because this project will impact the entire Christian Life network of families, we are asking everyone to prayerfully consider a gift or pledge to help towards the project.  Third, some of the projects will rely on volunteer assistance.  For instance, we will be able to save several thousand dollars by supplying volunteer support to playground and pavilion construction.
